Blacky Bridges

Here in never never land, I’ve been spending time getting life organized, schedules built out, plans made, and fighting with software.  It’s been a wild search of finding Open Mic nights in the area to get myself aquatinted with the performing stage again, solo.  Yep, this is the precursor to get myself going before any big launch - although I am open to any opportunity that may come my way to share my message of hope. 

While it feels great being out of school finally after 8 years, it is still odd 6 months later not having that pressure to get me moving.  Don’t worry, I’m still a life long student in life as I’ve decided to spend some time this year studying voice

So many of you may have wondered what has happened to this side of me.  Well, here we go!!!      Between 2016 and 2018, my life became completely absorbed with wrapping up school and music with a place of worship…as I do see myself as a spiritual person, religious…hmm…. 

In 2018, I was battling many things from failing health matters to betrayal of friends to emotional burnout in the spiritual realm.  I silently finished school here in June 2019 to complete one of the toughest assignments of all

WHAT I HAVE REALLY BEEN INTO…. (10/9/16) 

So, as usual...and there is science to prove it, I do my best work after 11pm.  Yes, you heard me right.  My body must be destine to be a musician that's for sure - lol!!! 

What's been finished tonight is lyrics for song #6 for an upcoming album I'll be releasing when I get into my studio to record this.  (Hopefully that will be in the spring of 2020).  The tune is already playing in my head...I hope I can go to sleep without my OCD creative moment causing me to…
